  • I worked in the Enterprise Capital Management’s SABER2 Team, building a high- performance, modular risk calculator for the bank. We used an internal framework known as Quartz, which is based on Python, SciPy, Numpy and Pandas.
  • I acted as a team lead in the Dublin office and working with the product owner to design solutions to the various problems presented in the project.

  • I'm a member of the mission team for EIRSAT-1, Ireland's first satellite.
  • I am writing the firmware for the payload electronics, and assisting with software for the onboard computer
  • I am also designing and building the ground station software, with the intention of releasing it as an open source project

Hackerspace Director, Member

  • I'm an active member and director of the TOG Hackerspace, a workspace community dedicated to the pursuit and sharing of knowledge, especially around STEM disciplines.
  • Aside from assisting in running the legal entity, I'm frequently in the space working on the personal projects or teaching guests at our weekly open evenings.
  • Current projects include a IoT sensor network for the space, a pulse-jet powered bicycle, a motorcycle restoration and computer-vision / augmented reality hardware.
